YES!!! great people are and have always been amongst us great things are not only done through great heroic acts (though those are very admirable as well); regular everyday people with good values and loving hearts make this world a more stable and harmonious place with their 'subtle' ways than we realize!

I wouldn't nominate any man of arms for the title of greatest Armenian ever, only because the weapons, in the end, are useless if the pen has not created anything worthy of protection. Just my opinion, don't need to agree. And the work Gomidas has done, and the Armenianness of it all, is just too precious. I wouldn't even know how to describe it.

As for the greatest military man, my vote goes to the great Zoravar Antranig. This is a man who fought ONLY for Armenia, and for nothing else. He also knew what he was good at, and refused certain responsibilities because he knew that he wasn't as good in them, which is quite rare for Armenians.
