Tom Hanks? Is he Armenain now as well?

Yeah Aim is great...but not as good as it was when published out of LA. I think the quality has slipped just a bit....it needs a spark I think...

You have never heard of Armenian International Magazine (AIM)? That is odd.

          AIM Has Lost It

The reason that AIM isn't successful is because they're simply not interesting. Very boring and the graphics are terrible. I almost find it offensive that they practically beg the Armenian public to support them when they obviously don't give a damn about the quality of their publication. What the hell are they doing with their money? Certainly not putting it into talent or printing.

AIM is actually very interesting. I'd guess that the reason it isn't successful is because they won't have Tom Hanks on the cover, and deal with more serious issues.

I supposed that's why there are two distinct magazines. I just find Mosaix more appealing because I just had an odar friend over, he read it and it was very educational to him. I don't think he would have gotten that from AIM. But again, taste will prevail in the end.

Yes, they are two distinct magazines, with one having more appeal to the masses than the other, which will allow it (hopefully) to find success easier. From the way you're talking, I'm guessing you're involved in this Mosaix project, and hats off to you if you are, but I don't see why you would attempt to knock down another (in my opinion) fine Armenian publication, since these two mags will obviously not be competing for the same audience.

But then again, maybe I'm just being cynical again.

AIM is an ok magazine, but I agree it has dropped off a little.

AIM is too political, boring and reaches out for the more 'elite'...Mos bring more modern that i think reaches out to more of the younger Armos (18-40)

Aim used to be better when published in Los Angeles, but the Armenians here are not supporting the magazine anymore with money so the guy took it to Armenia where people do support him. Have you not noticed that all the stories being covered now are all local Armenian(yeravan) stories instead of ones that focus on Armenians in America ( mostely those in LA. and NY.) or other places in the world. It's a shame, because the the magazine is amazing, and it would cover a lot of modern and interesting things in a great fashion of writing and display. The quality of the magazine has dropped a great deal, its not as interesting to read anymore. Hopefully it will come back to the U.S.
