Looking at my family tree, something really odd caught my attention... most people in my family aren't pure Armenian. My grandmother (on my dad's side) had 5 siblings, so including herself that's 6 people... out of the six, only 2 married other armenians, one of which being my grandmother. between those 2 there were 5 children, and out of those five only 2 married other armenians... one of them being my dad, who then married my mom who was pure Armenian... however, on my mom's side, her mother siblings had 2 siblings, both of which who married Russians, however my mom, through genetic luck (just like my father) some how ended up being the minority in our family of being a pure Armenian. What were the odds that I'd be born to the two of them? In a family full of cross breeding I'm one of the rare ones that isn't mixed with anything else. Just struck me as strange. For some reason i wanted to share.
