Is anybody else getting the feeling that we're a dying nation here?

I accepted that fact a long time ago.

Cheer up, there still might be hope. "Da Twinz" or any of the other Armenian rappers might make it big and make being Armenian cool again.

Yeah, Armenians are slowly going extinct. You have a negative population rate in Armenia, while at the same time two of your neighbors want your land in order to create a Pan-Turkish state. On top of all of this the majority of the Armenian population are living outside of Armenia and are slowly assimilating. All signs point towards extinction and or loss of Armenian statehood.

Cheer up, plan A might actually work.

inch assimlating, some of them could use a little "assimilation" in my point of view, seeing how old-fashioned and backwards ways some of them still have.

Im clueless in this matter...please enlighten me...

is an armenian stronger than other nations, as we have survived this long and kept our "culture"?

See Seapahn's logic would work only if he did not come to Hye forum, but yet he comes to a hye board claiming that he has already assimilated into the mainstream. Sorry, Seapahn, but your logic is wrong. Armenians have a chance to make their country better, but tragically, they have been caught up in pop-culture and capitalism.

is this a joke tres bien jan??? lol.. we have not kept any of our culture.. i dont know of one armenian here or at armenia that has kept the real and most beautiful culture of Armenia. The culture started as Armenians being the first Christian Nation.,, it would be good to see a real "cultural" Armenian.. but non of us are, and most of us cant be anymore.
How do you hurt a masochist?

Eh..the more I stay here, the more I realize how out of sync I am with the rest (or most of the rest) of the Armenians living in North America, which is why I no longer bother to argue, or attempt to prove my point.

I just can't wait for the day when I pack my bags for Yerevan..
