However, most of my knowledge and souces comes from people who have written about these events who have lived through it, based on both government papers and testimony in many of the books I've mentioned, along with ones I haven't.
In my opinion, these news sources are the most credible. How can anyone argue with one who has first hand experience? There are people who experienced disparity through this war, but some Iraqi people, are actually happy that Saddam is removed from power. I have learned this from a similar source as you mention above.

That's what it all goes down to. The ethics of it. Is it ethical to replace the needs of the whole with those of a few? Why couldn't we work in accord and harmony towards the better of all? Well that's where human nature seeps its face in.
You are arguing this from a philosphical and theoritcal perspective. Let me try to articulate in my words what you are saying here. Human organization, and actions are all a direct result from natural social interactions that exist in life. These natural interactions, master and slave, predator and prey, parent and child, are basically the sum of human nature, and you are saying that we apply this to our government. To say we are animals is an arguement that might have validity in a philosophical debate. In a political debate, to reduce our mind to human nature, or natural law, and reduce us to animal, makes every point you made invalid. If you believe that we are all bound by human nature, no matter how vast you define human nature, then you are saying organization of any kind is not possible and actually destructive, and there is nothing we can do about any disparities in this world. In a political debate that could never be used as a viable arguement. If you believe that then this whole forum is pointless, and any intellectual interaction that we engage in is pointless. That would make this whole forum useless, and any organized gathering pointless, such as the polity.

Your other points, I agree with you on.
