yeah Halo is a really good game because that's the best it gets for consols systems. On a computer Halo would be just another somewhat interesting shooter. Games like Doom 3, Half life 1 and 2, blow any console game out of the water.

Doom 3 is not a good game, just a good looking game. It's the most repetitive thing out there... at the end of teh day, the only reason to by it is to show off how good your computer is (you need to have a dream machine to run it at full specs). Other than that, it's early 90s gameplay wrapped in 2005 graphics.

But yes I agree, Halo 2 is to console gamers what Half-Life 2 is to PC gamers.

Doom 3 is a debated good game bad game, but the truth is, Doom 3 was made as "art", its not gameplay that counts so much, as the mood and theme. If you want the doom 3 experience, turn it up loud, turn off the lights and try toplay it through. It doesnt try to emphasize skill as much as experience. Online games like Day of Defeat, a halfe life mod, is way fun and skill based.
