I made a promise to myself that I would NOT buy this DVD set because I know that they're going to rerelease these DVDs again.. and again, and again, and again... and that I'd wait for a comprehensive DVD collection of the entire series. So what did I do today? I caved in and bought the DVDs. Oh well, it was fun to catch up with all my old favorite charcaters.. especially that loveable Armenian Lando Calrissian.

Wait until Episode III gets out on DVD... sell that seperately... then sell the ENTIRE Star Wars collection.
Typical Hollywood marketing. Sheesh.

Star Trek fans seem to be a bit more prone to that than Star Wars fans. Another thing... I just finished watching Return of the Jedi... you know at the end where Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin reappear in ghost form to Luke on Endor? Well, they took out the original actor who plays Anakin (I believe his name was Sebastian Shaw) and replaced it with Hayden Christensan!!!!! Ughhh!! I thought at least the original trilogy would be safe from the horendous acting of the prequels.. this guy can't even pretend to be a ghost right!"All I know is I'm not a Marxist." -Karl Marx
