Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

The big bang theory seems decent enough for me, except now that I beleive that it will never slow down and return to its starting position, like some say it will. Space doens't have gravity, its a vacum, there for how can something "reverse" course. Its not like throwing a ball up on earth, it will return back down cause there is gravity. The pieces from the big-bang technically shouldn't be able to re-unite, they would just go further and further away from each other cause there is no end to the universe. A bigger mystery then the first life from his how the universe was created...atleast in my oppinion. How the hell did it get there...I mean we could be a part of a toilet or a piece of ground somewhere...Doesn't our solar system resemble the structure of an atom? What if all this is part of an object that is a LOT bigger then us. What if they observe us like scientists observe a piece of rock. What if this is like that Russian doll, you open it up, there is another one just like it, but much smaller and then another one, then another one, etc... this just keeps going. Atoms make us up...maybe be we also make something up.

Anyway, your other questiuon on how matter was started is kind of simple. I forgot which elements they were, but they reaceted to form other types of elements. I think it all started with hydrogen, then that reacted with something else(I forgot) to form another element, then that reacted with something else again and the variety of elements increased. I'm kind of rusty on this topic, but I do remeber that it all started from one or two simple or essential atoms bonding together to form other ones.

      the point is
there has to be a creation.
i was watching PBS and they said that the big bang is not the beginning.
these scientists proposed a theory that there had to the the "beginning of matter". because the matter banged. there has to be a matter for it to explode.
but you could just forget about it, cuz big bang is questioned by many leading physicists.
so we are back to square one.

To answer the original questions, keep in mind Kerry is trying to reach out to some of those undecided voters that still don't know the difference between bush and kerry ... or even worse, they are thinking of voting bush. The majority of the US wants something to believe in, or wants to vote for someone who believes in something ... for whatever reason that may be ... that's probably why Kerry chose those words.

So in your faith, do you believe in God? Then who created God?

              the answer is simple.
noone created God. God is uncreate. there was no time before creation. He exists outside of time and space.

If you believe in creation, then in order for something to exist, it must have been created. If not, then in whatever ways you come up with to explain how God came to be (aka exist), then I can take and use the same ways to explain how anything may have come to be .. like Universe for example.

The way you pick "God" to be the exception to "creation" is rather arbitrary. That's essentially the problem with the creation model. I'm not saying that other explanations are necessarily better or worse ... just saying you can't believe in the creation model and then claim it works without flaw!

                  whats so hard to believe
God is an eternal Being, who exists outside of time.
Man cannot think something that is outside time. Our perception is confined to time and space. When we think of creation we think of "years" before it. Thats the point there was no time, therefore He couldnt be created.

                    yeah, i get ur point.
the universe could have been without beginning too. but its just doesnt work like that. thats why everything that has a beginning has an end. And things that dont have a begining dont have an end. If matter was there before forever, then it would just be there. since the law states that "nothing is created or destroyed". There is a contradiction, either uniserve was there "always" or either it was created.
