I say start thinkin about grad school.
most of the time... when you're majoring in something in undergrad school, you can't really find a decent job that is related to your major with only a bachelor's degree. you need to get some grad work done so that you could get your dream job... I think.
and plus...I think it's sort of a crime when people start working mon-fri 8-5 in their early or even mid twenties...
I tried it for one summer and almost killed myself.
we're gonna be working weekdays /at least 8 hours a day our whole lives. but you're only gonna be "in your twenties" for ten short years.
unless you have your own business and it's going AWESOME for you... or you work for NASA or the penthagon and you're making crazy amounts of money you should not be having a full time "behind a desk" job.

OK some of you are misunderstanding me. I like my job just fine, that's not what I'm talking about.

Grad school is a good idea, but you have to realize that grad school sometimes requires even more work than a regular nine to five job, on top of which you still have to work to make some money to live on.

As for the 'behind a desk job' not all jobs are like that, and you can make plenty of money even if you dont work for nasa or the pentagon.

I read a book in this class I had when I was an undergrad called Quarterlife Crisis. It pretty much put into words exactly how I was feeling. A little overwhelmed and freaked out about not having the structure/schedule of going to class (or not) and sleeping in and being out late, etc, etc. And also a little bit wondering what's next, like why did I waste 4 years of my life studying something I will have to study for 3 more (or even more) years if I want to get a job I can make enough money doing so that I can make a life with someone eventually. And, of course, that opens the whole other, holy crap everyone either has a bf/gf, is engaged, or starting to get married left and right and I feel like I'm the only one not, and so on and so forth.... You have to get through it. Like everyone said, get a hobby, go out, spend time with friends, spend time with your gf, get to know new people, go out and do things outside, enjoy having the time to do whatever the heck you please after work, because someday you're going to have to come home to responsibilities and family and you can't really just go off and be yourself at that time. I guess you just have to grin and bear it. Yes, sometimes you think it's all just a waste of time, doing the same damn thing in school, then having to go to school again to do the same damn thing, only to get sucked into a job where you do the same damn thing around the same damn people. It's life. Having a job you love to go to is the best way to ease the pain of the repetativeness of it all. I don't want to crawl out of bed early in the mornings either but I love my job so at least once I've resigned myself to waking up, the rest of the day is much easier. You can't do whatever you like, you have to like whatever you do.... Good luck! And anyway you can always b!tch on the forum...

For crying out loud, put this thread on hold.. get a dirt bike (i recomend the CRF250 ) ride it for one weekend on some easy trails ( ask me if you have any questions where) and then if you still have this problem.. you can shoot me.. no seriously.. you can shoot me.. so.. try that.. your crisis will turn into an obsession.. it will be your next gf, its like an orgasm for hours at a time, only thing thats better is to have some fried chicken legs. hahahaha..
