I do that too... I once cried for like 24hrs because I got a B.

I think I've landed on nerd planet..have to catch up the next flight to earth...

I'm happy with a 15/20 on a difficult exam...I'm rather sad when I got 17/20 in English..I usually get 19/20..yeye, I'm good at english..well..you might not notice it

Yes well, I can thank my mom for having such high standards for myself. When I was in middle school and high school and I used to bring home and A- her response would be, 'Well, why isn't it an A?'

I'm last minute as well.... well not last minute, maybe the last two days, but it works for me. I don't really study during the semester but when I have a test I spend two or three days in a row studying for it and ace the test, so no complains! My finals are next week, and I got two on the same day

I just took my first final and I have been studying for it since sunday. I dont usually study that long for a final but this final has my grade depending on it so I really had to concentrate on it. My method of study is basically memorization with review. If I organize my notes a certain way and go through them a few times then the information sticks in my head. I have a photographic memory so if I look and read at something long enough than I remember it pretty well on the exam, I am even able to visualize on what page and paragraph (not the page number, just location) the information is on in the book.

I have to the GRE in a few days though. That's pretty major. I'd rather take a final.
I have my preliminary orals for my thesis in early January as well. I'm a little anxious about that. I don't know that I'll have a whole lot of time to prepare when I have a bunch of applications due between now and then. Oy! Then, my comprehensive exam is scheduled for the first week of Feb. That'll be a 4 hr exam in an extremely broad area and I do not have any idea what the questions will be. Fun, fun...

I usually study a little a week before. Then nothing during the week..and I finally study like crazy the day before the exam
