  • Using fingerprints as identification

I work at the mall in a department store whenever I'm home. When I went back to work over christmas break I find out that the store has changed their method of clocking in your hours. They now have employees identified by their fingerprints. I found this completely bizarre. There was really no point to it because either way we still had to punch in our ID number to clock in. Whats next, scanning our eyes, and identifying ourselves by our voices??

    What do you guys think?

I personally dont like the idea. Its bad enough that just about everybody knows our SSN (bank, work, DMV, school, etc.), now our fingerprints are going to be floating around in the system aswell??

That's exactly what's going to happen. Pretty soon they'll have a national ID card tied to a mandatory VISA account. If the terror alert is high enough you could be arrested just for not carrying it on you. etc etc, I dont' wanna get into it. It's conspiracy theory talk.

Oh and I forgot RFID chips in everything. Every thing that is bought will become traceable. Walmart just started putting them in all it's inventory. Soon the whole world will use them! Including you. (ooh creepy.)
