Is anyone here an Accountant by profession. I just got two offers from two Big 4 Firms. I just want to know if anyone here already works for a big accounting firm and how they like it. Surely there is someone at the forum.

I don't but from what I understand (from friends/relatives that have worked for Arther Anderson and some of the others) there is nothing at all to like about it aside from the money. Burn out can be quick - hope your OK with putting off having a family - because you certainly won't get to see them much if you take this job - but yeah - the money should be great and an added benny is that you won't have any time to spend it...

I know this girl who actually works for Big 4 firms... she says it's very hectic and she works long hours
I mean working for large accounting firms is obviously not easy, but well worth it...
So if you got an offer, TAKE IT!!!!
PS I'm an accounting major too, have another year.
