Ok can anyone inform me of what to watch first. I have never seen a single episode. My brother has them all (I think all 5 of them, and the 6th one he will have after it comes out on DVD since it is about to hit the theatres first). I think if I start with the one made in 78' or so it is in the wrong order. I want to watch it from beginning to end as it happens in the episodes, so which one is the first one?

I'd watch them in order of their original theatrical release. So that's Star Wars (1977), The Empire Strikes Back (1980), and Return of the Jedi (1983). If you want to follow the actual Star Wars chronology, you would start with the prequel The Phantom Menace (1999).
