  • Nargile and Hookah Bars in LA

Hey what's up everyone? I'm a 24 year old guy in North Hollywood CA and I'm noticing soo many Nergile and Hookah Bars opening up in the San Fernando Valley. I know at least 6 bars in like a 10 mile radius...

What's crazy is that some places actually charge 15 dollars a hookah

Instead of smoke at the bars, why don't you smoke at home?

Question is do you guys think people rather spend the money at a Hookah bar or spend the money to buy their own hookah?

    What do you guys think?

Sorry, but you can't link to any commercial sites, even if they aren't yours. Some friends of mine used to frequent a hookah bar in Long Beach and I don't think it was that expensive. Part of the point seemed to be getting out of the house, so smoking in the house wouldn't necessarily serve that point.

Ya its like you can get food at home why do you go to a restaraunt to eat. Same logic, that I don't agree with.

It's like asking why there is Starbucks when you can make coffee at home for 1/20 of the price of what starbucks charges... the answer is obvious.
          this post = teh win.

Asking why people go out and smoke them isn't a good question. The same reason why we pay to go to the movies- instead of watching what's on TV, and why we pay to go out and eat- instead of eating at home. Going out is better, you can go with friends, meet people, just a place to hang out. I don't go often, and I don't own one either. I'm waiting to move to buy a couple. Hookah's good, but if I do it too much- as in 4 times a week- it's nasty.
