Can you please repost what you know using a different font color than the background color? Thanks!

I didn't post anything using a font color similar to the background color.

      ...I know!
What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.

You guys are such dorks.... hehehe

I have to say, Hiroshima makes me think of dying people in Japan as well, sorry...

I've always called them by their first names too, and thanks for reminding me that I've been called "angel"...I can't believe I forgot that one.

And when you see a girl in a bikini, do you think of atom-bomb tests in the south Pacific?

Is it really that hard? Just call them by whatever they let you call them. Start with Mr and Mrs and if they don't say anything, then continue calling them that. Most, where I live anyway, will tell you to just call them by their first name. Well, then you do.

As for mom and dad, my parents' generation still call their in-laws "mam" and "pap". Absolutely normal.

What words evoke in us is a matter of Cultural References and words have little or no sentimental/emotional charge/connotations beyond those Cultural References. Of course, in a society where "Hiroshima mon Amour" - the book or Resnais' cinematographic adaptation, a French New Wave classic - is little known, the expression "Hiroshima mon Amour" or "Hiroshima" would not evoke feelings that the book/movie put on stage. While, in a society where "Hiroshima mon Amour" is a Cultural Reference, realities may be different.

The same applies to "Orpheus" or "BlackOrpheus" if you've never seen the movie or are unfamiliar with the Greek myth.

I have given examples to illustrate an idea, examples of nicknames that I may or may have used . You need to find your own, what may make sense in your own world, your own story! This is not a "consumer item" that you chose from a catalogue; you make it from your own and by your own! Sorry!

This is why I liked the time when Armenia was still communist. You called every single male, including your father "Enker (lastname)". And women, well women you didn't even speak too.
