daily motion often has videos that youtube removed the audio from, and tudou ad youku are great for movies. Hulu is awesome b/c they have full seasons of some show, and many episodes of others. They also have SNL clips which are never found anywhere, and they have some movies as well.

It was maid by 3 former PayPal workers. Then in 2006 or 2007 Google bought it.

I first signed up 2006 when I was googling for vid of Steve Erwin getting stung my stingray and I found youtube but I needed to make an account so I can watch so I did.

Four years isn't long at all.

YouTube blew up within a few years, I'm actually amazed at how young it is.
