He then told me that it was actually an Armenian woman who was stolen from her parents during the genocide and she didn't know she was Armenian for most of her life but one day she found out and left Turkey and went to live in Armenia. Unfortunately I can't remember her name but he said she was a very famous singer in Turkey.
