Capitalism Day is a name sometimes applied to the holiday celebrated on December 25th, as opposed to Christmas.

The term is generally used two ways. It is used by atheists who support capitalism and see the modern process of Christmas, including present giving, as a positive product of capitalism's productivity, and think that it should therefore be named after it. It is also often used by those who are against the modern commercialization of Christmas, as a way to antagonize it and its affiliation with a system they find to be unappealing. The positive form of the term is often used by Objectivists.

Another internet radio station host e-mailed me. He says they're interested in my playing my songs, and that I'm exactly what they've been looking for. They also said they wanna do a whole show on me once my CD is ready.
