I'm not excited for one reason. I have to drive about 45 minutes for work. I don't mind driving, but it's the gas issue that makes me mad. I'm going to be wasting so much gas to drive to work, then drive back home. And I have to drive 10 minutes for school too, and back. Ugh. Since it's my uncle's shop, I'll see how it goes this first week, and I'll see if I'll stay. I'm happy about working there, but I don't know about all these miles.

Don't be sad!! Starting work is a "YEA!!! " What are you doing?

Yeah! At least I'll be getting paid.

I've lived in Madison for many years doing my thing. I make enough to pay my mortgage, and basics. I managed an eco-company for awhile, but I felt guilty driving an hour, each way, to do that. My thought was I MUST be doing more harm than good for Earth.

LA is a sad (future) story, from my point of view, right now. LA is all about cars. What would happen if gas was not.
