LOS ANGELES (KFWB) 9.12.05, 1:05p -- Power outages were reported this afternoon in parts of Hollywood, North Hollywood, Sherman Oaks close to Ventura near Woodman andxVan Nuys according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. The source says The Los Angeles Times Newspaper has been evacuated due to the power outage. The Mid Wilshire section of LA is also suffering power loss.
It was not immediately known how many people were affected by the outage, said Gale Harris of the DWP.
