Was wondering how old some of you are that you say no to communism. We had free education, medical, and yes I am armenian too, if the ussr hadn't broken up at a bad time for armenia it would have rebuilded faster.

The USSR sucked they couldn't handle anything. Sevan has dropped 6 meters a lot of it was wasted. And it build poor quality good and has taught Armenians that bribery was the only way to things. Because of the USSR cops are useto taking bribes, if you don't bribe the doctor at a hospital they won't see you. The poverty of communist times caused all Armenians now to go after money like hungry dogs. I don't know if you've ever been here to Armenia, but they all like to khapel each other.

Precisely the problem with you people. No opinion different than your own can be even worthy of consideration. You'll just dismiss it as something below your incredible level of enlightment...And for the record, I'm not an American.

The Soviet Union played an important role in developing Armenia, but it brought with it many, many things we could have lived without. It is time to move on.

If communism involves no freedom of speech, corruption, purges, Stalin, a complete destruction every 80 years or so, we can very well live without it.

How wonderful could it have been if everybody just wanted out?

All you have to do is compare Soviet Armenia to nowdays Capitalist Armenia.

Too bad that the majority of the armenians of Armenia can not enjoy such a nutritious meal.

It's easy for you to say that as you trot on over to the beach and the Aegean. Armenia is doing fine, I visited in the summer and things weren't so bad. Okay, maybe the corruption, but everything else was good.
