Well, even reducing meat intake and switching to organic, free range, and local is better (and will make those cute kitty feetprints even a bit smaller). I am still most concerned about http://www.xofacto.com/justin20/shinzen-godzilla-62.jpg prints... though. Most people in the US have those.

You don't need to buy from them, either. I often dig up baby maples and other trees in my backyard (of my condo--where the mower would cut them anyway) and transplant some of those. You don't get credit for that sort of thing on the footprint quiz, but I'd guess nature 'notices.'

We need to adjust all of our human footprints for the future footprints and all of the other kinds of feetprints--a new word.



Sometimes, what a person doesn't do (refuse to become apathetic, eat meat, buy into crazy consumerism, etc.) makes a difference that is equal or greater than what you actively do. Sometimes. Every little bit helps.
