I think she means that it would be a competition as to see who can obtain the most power as in to control of others (the bully portion) …as in the survival of a fittest
...as for my opinion I think it is a combination of both…by having it be a form of competition you are violating the personal rights of others by trying to obtain that power
Basicly, it's in the interests of the big guy to bully the little guy.
Why?
The big guy wants to increase his power, popularity, whatnot. By belittling the little guy even more, he can accomplish this. Thus, this may be viewed as a form of competition - survival of the fittest.
When first asked the question "Is bullying wrong?", of course your mind is automatically going to respond YES. The reason I brought up the question is, is there another side to it? If you think about it, it fits nicely into the competition category. Also, bullying doesn't always have to be physical. It can also be mental, emotional.
The goal of every competition is to be the winner, the best of the best. The bully signifies this, even if his competition is not always fit to compete against him.
Flamer, your post is the world's greatest proof of reincarnation. No one could get that smart in just one lifetime. Just as the strength of a solitary brick will not save a poorly built structure, your bold typeface does not redeem your craven incoherent words.
