yes really. Ok names originated in India/Lebanon etc have a funny sound to it in English.

here is a guys name that I thought was funny (it was on the radio actually) his first name Benjamine last name Dover. nothing funny about that, but everyone calls him Ben. No saying Ben Dover???? hahaha

yes I have been called Prescilla by some indian lady on the other end of the phone. I am not sure how Cristina is mistaked for Prescilla. But the best one was when I got called Frank..............still wondering about that one hahaha
