        It is one of my favorite dish. It is something to do with my grand mother who used to be a cooker at yoruk weddings in my memories. The picture seems to be slightly different from the dish I know. It looks juicy and oily in the picture. But what I know is neither juicy nor oily. You must also spread melted butter on top of it as well as meat in small peaces. It is not known in every part of Turkey

          this is how it looks like... it is also called harrisa, Kashkak, Kashkek...

          My granny makes it with with barley, wheat and chiken. Probably it has more secret ingredients. ^^ We call is herseh... It kinda tastes like chicken rice but more flavoured...

            Not sure who claims the harrisa but we used to make it in Armenia and we still make it, yumm.
