Philosophy student at UC Davis

Hello everyone, I am very happy to have found this website! All my life I have been very Americanized even though I wasn't born here (came here from Armenia when I was seven).

I've never felt like I've connected properly to my people, my country, my language... I am glad I found a website with intellectual Armenians that I can talk to and provoke thought.

Anyway, a little about myself. I am 19 years old. I live in Los Angeles, CA. I go to UC Davis though. I am studying philosophy and physics in order to go to grad school and ultimately become a professor of philosophy in the philosophy of science.

I love video-games, guns (I can't get enough of guns), beautiful women, good movies, philosophy, and most of all--intelligence.

I hope to make good friends on this website and provide meaningful contributions, as well as learn more about my people.

P.S. You feel like you've never properly connected to Armenia? You lived there until you were seven. How can you get any closer than that outside of being a permanent resident?

He stated he was seven when he moved. Obviously (but not to you, of course), he didn't make the decision to move on his own. So, being or not being "truly happy" has nothing to do with the topic.
