I have discovered your forum a few weeks ago via a link I have seen in a news site and since then I have checked many threads.
Generally, I do not post messages to forums. However, seeing some aggresive messages written by Turks, I have felt responsible.
I am not planning to argue about the historical events as I consider such discussions futile. However, I want to express my deep sorrow about Armenian deaths during 1st WW (will it serve any purpose? I dunno). I know, it's impossible to feel the same agony that you feel, but it was not only your loss, but also ours.
Surely, some of you are already aware of the fact (and stated it in various threads in that forum) that Turks are not uniform regarding Armenians. What happened in 1915 was hidden from the people for years and now pandora's box is being opened (thanks to the advance of democracy in Turkey and efforts of the intellectuals). Don't know how it seems from your side, but it's a painful and disputable process.
Many hates Armenians, many are totally xenophobic, but still there are quite many people believing in peace and demanding better relations with Armenia and Armenians. These are also valid for you if the word "Armenian" is changed with the word "Turk" as far as I have read in that forum.
Different nations used to live in this country in harmony and this fact is not completely forgotten. Some grieve.
