if turgay didn't care about Armenians then it would not be a crime to discuss the Armenian Genocide! common trait of all turds is lack of logic.

Honestly, these 4 legged, homosexual belly dancing pedophiles get way too many responses from you guys. Let them talk to themselves and go away. If we don't have enough topics lets create a list.

                    Armenians Must Take

                    azeri War Threats Very Seriously

                    By Appo JABARIAN
                    Executive Publisher/Managing Editor
                    USA ARMENIAN LIFE Magazine

                    [email protected]

In a May 28 commentary in EurasiaNet, Prof. Stephen Blank of the US Army War College, wrote: "The Kurdish question could become a source of tension, and possibly conflict in the South Caucasus. … Media outlets in Turkey and Azerbaijan have reported that militant Kurds, in particular fighters affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers Party, have been settling in Nagorno-Karabakh and in portions" of liberated Armenian territories.

He added: "It might be tempting to downplay the news reports as Turkish and Azerbaijani propaganda aimed at their longtime enemy -- Armenia. But dismissing Turkish and Azerbaijani assertions and concerns could prove dangerous. They require further investigation."

In Azerbaijan, instead of concerning themselves with Baku's growing internal conflicts with the existing indigenous ethnic minorities, the Azeri officials have long been busy focusing on a non-winnable war with Armenia.

According to various sources, 15%-20% of the inhabitants of Azer-baijan - excluding Artsakh (Karabagh) - are indigenous nationalities such as Lezgin, Talysh, Avar, Tatar, Tat, Tsakhur, Georgian and Kurd. Most ethnic groups have been living in the region for centuries, long before the arrival of Seljuks from the Steppes of Central Asia.

Today's Azer-baijan Republic has been artificially created in 1918. In 1921, soon after Sovietization, the Soviet dictator Josef Stalin forcibly carved Artsakh (Karabagh) and Nakhichevan out of the Republic of Armenia (then 60,000 sq. km.) and arbitrarily gave them to Azerbaijan. These two historic Armenian territories were Stalinized. However, nearly 70 years later the Artsakh Liberation War in 1989-1994 de-stalinized them.

Deeply troubled by a possible Kosovo-type development in Artsakh (Karabagh), Azerbaijan grows further insecure about its territorial integrity. Many different ethnic groups are now actively pursuing secession from Baku, most notably the one million-strong Lezgins.

It's understandable that "the mere fact that Turkish and Azerbaijani media outlets are complaining about a Kurdish militant presence in Karabakh should spur the international community to action, in particular the co-chairs of the Minsk Group -- the United States, Russia and France," as reported Blank.

In case Azer-baijan attacks and war breaks out, can Ar-menians compel the Azeris to stop the war?

During a lecture in the United States, Prof. Armen Aivaz-yan of the Ararat Center for Strategic Studies in Yerevan, Armenia, said that the best way to force Baku to stop any possible war is through the liberation of new swats of Armenian territories.

While some pundits brush off Aliev's and his cohorts' warmongering as mere rhetoric devised for domestic consumption, Armenians have no choice but to take these threats very seriously.

During the last few months, Azerbaijan has been attempting to torpedo the Minsk peace process. It even called for its dissolution. Instead, it has redoubled its war propaganda efforts.

In answer to Azeri intransigence, "there is a clear need for redoubled efforts to get Karabakh negotiations back on track, so as to eliminate, or at least greatly diminish the chances of developments taking a calamitous turn" concluded Blank.

Has Armenia been doing enough to counter this recent surge in Azeri deceptive campaign?

Blank quoted Armenia's Foreign Ministry press spokesman Vladimir Karapetian as saying that the "unsubstantiated rumors about the intentions on the side of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) to move to Nagorno-Karabakh and controlled territories cannot be called anything less than another provocation."

The Armenian official's clear statement effectively unmasks the Azeri lies. However, that's not enough. In my opinion, Armenians in Armenia/Artsakh and around the world must:

                    1. Be prepared for any war instigated by Azerbaijan just like it happened in March 2008, when Azerbaijan lunched a military attack immediately after the Feb. 19 presidential elections. (They were repelled leaving behind numerous casualties);

                    2. Launch an international information dissemination countering Turkey's and Azerbaijan's joint disinformation campaign against Armenia.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.
