It is not clear what you mean? wrong about what??? Azeri in Iran and Azeri in the Republic are both turks. You are not definitely a turkmen from North East Iran. Azeris in Iraq and Turkey are called Turkmen. But those are not really turkmen. The real turkmens are on the east side of caspian sea.

You sound like an Azeri From Iran despite your name. I represent the Persians and we do not know any Persian Azeris. Similar to say "Russian Azeris". Russians or Persians have nothing to do with Azeris. Azeri and Iranians are the same people.

Both Azeris in the Republic of Azerbaijan and in Iran are Dinaric Alpine in terms of physical anthropology. They speak the same language and have the same culture. So both are Azeris and you can not just make some stories and deny it.

I sugest you read Hellektor's thread about Azeris you'll learn many new things. And the Azeris from Azerbajan are Turkish Tartars nothing more so there are two azeris. One living in Iran and most of them don't want any to do with turkey and the tartars living in Azerbajan.

They may have the same linguistic roots, but do you really believe that a Turkish person from Turkey has a whole lot in common with, say, an Uzbek or Turkmen? I think an Armenian would have more in common with them.

I'm sure there is a lot of anti-Armenian propaganda being spread around in Turkic nations like Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, but it's nice to see that they haven't become ultra fascist, racist, and nationalistic like Turkey (for that to happen, they would need Kemalist, not pan-Turkic influence).

Panturkism is not racism or fascism. Also Kemal Atatürk was a Panturkist too, according to it, all Turks unites in a one country- but not killing other ethnic groups or banning their cultural activities.
Modern Panturkism idea wants to create an Union like EU but with only Turkic States.

No, Azerians are not Iranians, They are Oghuz Turks like Anatolian Turks but they are shii like Iranians... If they are Iranian why they speak Turkish????


Oghuz Turks used Persia and Armenia as a bridge for Turks immigration to west. Some Oghuz Turks stayed on bridge , They accepted Shii-Islam because Iran Shahs had control over region, and Oughuz Turks changed their Islamic sectarians. Today they are Azerians, Not Iranians

Iran govenment draws a politic, about supposing them as Iranian...It is similar Turkey's Kemalist politic, Turkish governmet accept Kurdish People as a Turk...But they are Kurdish and Azerian are Turkish and most of them know they are originally Turkic and rebeled many times against to Iran government.

Also Turkmen,Uzbek, Anatolian Turk and Azerians are same thing all of them came from Oghuzs.

Turks had already had relations with Persians and Sasanians before BC. We occupied Iran many times and ordered... Maybe that puzzled...

If United States use them, Azerbejian's population will be nearly 30 millions. Bridge will appear and Armenia will be buffer between two Turkic states.

Yes. You are an Anatolian Turk and not familiar with Iran. I suggest you read the first post on this thread. There is no ethnicity in Iran called Iranian. It is a name used by Azeris.
