Just to let you know guys, I've started reading the book. I'm a little over a fifth done. I didn't have a chance to start earlier because of school, but now school's out.

Anyway, my plan is to just finish the book and then start the discussing. I'm pretty sure that both Mouse and Loser are done with the book, so there's no point in "catching up". Just post when you're done with the book. I have a feeling that overly religious folk won't like it, and therefore, won't even finish it, hehehe.

As for what I think of the book so far, I think it's very much possible that ET have had a presence throughout human history. However, Bramley's arguements (so far) aren't all that convincing to me, even though I believe that he is on to something.

I'd also like to add that I have not really done any reading on UFOs. Despite this, I don't think the book is as far fetched as Loser made it out to be. Maybe it's because I like to question things, such as why the hell we're on this damn planet to start with.

You and Dan and I come in here with an advantage in that we have read Sitchin (I think sleuth might have, too), but for those who haven't, this will sound a lot more far-fetched than it really is.

Still, if all you have is the basic knowledge base given one in a public school education, this book is going to seem so far out of left field that it will almost seem like a joke, at least I'm guessing.

Perhaps I didn't word it well, but I meant that although I haven't read Sitchin or any other UFO books, I don't think that Bramley's ideas are all that far-fetched.

Aren't you full of piss and vinegar? Calm your hormones down, I don't care which forums you visit. You stated that you never saw the discussion about the book, when the thread was created 2 months ago. If I wanted to insult your intelligence, I would have, plus I wouldn't have included a smiley at the end of the post.
