I know most of you here are too young to remember Watergate...but perhaps you are at least a bit familiar do to the recent "comming out" of Mark Felt - the famous "Deep Throat" secret source that directly implicated Nixon and the White House kitchen cabinet in the break-ins leading to Nixon's downfall, congrssional inquiries and resignation. Well Buchanon was a Nixon speechwriter and was and still is a whako xenophobic conservative ideologue. I am finding his campaign of calling Felt a traitor and making excuses for Watergate along the lines of countercharges that other Presidents did such but weren't caught and that everbody just hated and was biased against Nixon as somehow earily reminicent of Turkish Genocide denials...So Pat the denialist eh?

Denying that a burglary was morally wrong, but acknowledging that it happened, is hardly akin to denying that the planned deaths of over a million persons ever took place. Buchanon isn't even lying; he's just giving an opinion. What the Turks say is factually incorrect. I don't see any reminiscence. -
