    Three Turks detained in London

Three Turks are among nine people arrested by British police Thursday in a series of raids seeking those responsible for the failed bombing attacks on London’s underground railway system last week.

LONDON - A total on nine people were arrested by British police Thursday in connection with the abortive bombing attacks of July 21.

The three Turks were arrested in a raid on a fast food restaurant in the south London suburb of Tooting. Their names have not been released as yet.
According to a witness quoted by the Reuters news agency, dozens of officers raided the property at 4:30 am.

“Police said to us ‘stay inside’ and then they took away three people from the shop, a man aged about 45 called Ali who has been living there for two years and two younger men aged about 28 and 26,” shop owner Raja Kumar told Reuters.

Police also arrested six other men at a property near to the Tooting Broadway subway station.

Those three Turks have been released. They were probably arrested because of racial profiling.

bad mistake.... they shot him because they thought he was a suicide bomber (not only an islamist terrorist)... so i can understand the police.... you have to shot a suicide bomber instantly before he sets off the bomb.... it is a hard desicion... i mean if you were a cop and you had a suicide bomber suspect around in a crowded place... hard to decide... man.. i am sorry for that brazil guy.. pure unlucky... and i am sorry fot the police who shot him... must be feeling guilty
