  • Brahmin Armenia

In Urartu there were Indic-Brahmin deity names such as Indra. Brahmins were known in Commagene north Syria until Roman times. At that time, there was made a rock-carving at Bayazid, showing 2 priests in Phrygian-style caps with a horned lion on a pedestal. Can anyone comment on the meaning of the beast, which may be the Assyrian " ia`ilu " wild-goat, Hindi "yali" goat with fore-and-aft horns and the Celtic yale goat with lion hindquarters ?
Brahmins and goats were created before other people, and possibly the 2 priests are Brahmins or associates of that culture. Where do I go for advice?
