    Thank you
Physically they are OK, I mean some of the shops are open but of course no one is in the mood for shoping, unless for basic needs (food, water and stuff) that will get more scarce in the coming months if the war continues till then...
People, we are under seige(Like medieval times) no airplaines can come and go, no ships can enter Lebanese harbors, most of the routes especially in the south has been destroyed, as well as all the routes that take you to syria except one road that is still open, but I fear when most of the foreigners leave Lebanon (they make sure of it) it will be destroyed too.
Hizballah has taken two soldiers hostage (that most of the Lebanese condemn and that's another issue ), Israel has taken the entire Country Hostage.....

There is no fear because most of the Lebanse are used to (due to previous long experiences), however there is a sense of sadness that the country has returned 20 years back due to massive distructions.
I mean we just finished constructing the country from the damage of the war, and everything was going well with expected 1.5 million tourist coming in this summer, well all gone in vain......

It is encouraging that not everyone has not fled the city. I am assuming people went to church yesterday and are continuing on with life with more caution. I also asume schools must me closed until the bombing stops.

Dude wtf you know, they drop bombs in west bank made in USA without America, they are nothing, they got all the US military goodies. If america gave that much support to armenia, we could take over the world

Re: War in The Middle East

I'm sure the Shia's are not very welcomed in the Christian areas of Beirut. A lot of Beirutsti's living in LA hope that if Hezbolla can be eliminated this time, it might remove the one thing that's been holding back Lebanon for years. Hopefully there is something positive that may come out of this. I do acknowledge it is completely unfair that the innocent people of Beirut have to suffer in order for this to happen.

By the Shia's mixing with the others in Lebanon, that could only complicate things. I do not think Israel will use any discretion if they decided to bomb Bourj Hamoud if they thought hezbolla was hiding there.
