Determinism vs. Indeterminism

let me add one more complication ...anyone care to elaborate upon the many worlds interepretation (of quantum mech) I'm still reading up on it (i.e. I don't really get it yet) but it goes something like everytime you make a choice the universe splits up (branches?) into the infinitely many choices you could have made, so you're essentially doing all the choices (just in other worlds) and the one you "choose" happens to be in this particular world. (This is more plausible for small particles electrons/photons, etc and not so much for something huge like humans, but I just read something that talked about how the human brain is a quantum amplifier)

So an already infinite number of universes splits into an infinite set of infinite numbers of universes? Sounds a little paradoxical.

It's tough to grasp something that is already infinite multiplying. I'm no mathematician, but I didn't think you could multiply a number by infinity, much less infinity by infinity.
