Hello all
I'm beginning a long term project on the Civil war in Lebanon (1975-90).
My goal is to collect as many accounts and stories from people that lived through it. My own memories are vivid but not so expansive...and it would be from a child's point of view which will be a great perspective, but I need much more than that.
If you know anyone who would have some really interesting stories, accounts, ...family, friends, etc..etc..(including you of course if you lived through it), please PM me.
It could be anything - memories, anecdotes, photos too...anything to add authenticity to the stories, people, time and place.
I realize that recent events in Lebanon are probably much more worthwhile to explore at this time, but this is a personal project about the time that I grew up in beirut so I need to research that particular time period.
