Apparantly yes...

The Pope was a great political man. He stood strong when Nazis where killing his kindreds and childhood friends. He fought communisme in Poland next to Lech.
Let us not forget the many good deeds he did for the Catholic churche. It's not an understatement to say he was ahead of his time.

He was a man of peace, met both sides in a conflict and tried to understand what was going on. He died of parkinson, a terrible disease.


Anyway, back to the topic:

Don't treat the pope bad if thats what you wanted to in your original post.
