What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

  • Germany: Exposition In Remembrance of The *urkish Genocide

[The following is translated using SYSTRAN. Siamanto]

    GENOCIDE, Tuesday June 28, 2005 - ARMENEWS.
The town of Erzeroum, stronghold of nationalism and Islamism Turkish, shelters since years a museum dedicated to the victims of the genocide which would have perpetrated the Armenians against the Turks at the beginning of the 20th century. Whereas the international countryside for the recognition of the genocide of 1915 gains in intensity, including in Germany, where the Parliament outlined a recognition of this historical reality, with the approach of the negotiations of accession of Turkey in the European Union, Turkey seems to want to export the principle of this museum negationnist, in a vain attempt to rewrite the history. Thus, on the initiative of several Turkish organizations, the town of Bremen, in Germany, has accomodated for Saturday an exposure of the " Armenian atrocities ". At the time of the inauguration of the exposure, the visitors observed one minute of silence in memory of the Turks who " were massacred by the Armenian gangs " in the last decades of the Othoman Empire. Under the title " the other side of the coin ", the exposure intends to reveal the hidden face of the history, with force documents and supposed photographs to testify to the atrocities which the Armenians against civil Turkish would have made.
The initiative profits of course from the oiling of the Turkish authorities, the consul general from Turkey in Hanover, Birgen Besoglu, informant on this occasion that " if the events of 1915 caused a heavy dispute between the people Armenian and Turkish, the Turkish Republic does not have with any case, to redden of its history". " the documents and photographs carried to the attention of the public in this exposure of it are the proof ", added the consul, by deploring that " the Armenian diaspora tries to induce in error the international public opinion by her allegations stripped of base ".
The exposure, which lasts until June 30, was to also be the occasion of round tables devoted to the " alleged Armenian genocide ", which should also mobilize the Turkish community of Bremen at the time of a demonstration envisaged on July 2.
In addition, the association of the German editors announced on June 23 that it was going to allot this year to the Turkish writer Orhan Pamuk the prestigious price of the Fair of the Book of Frankfurt, which will be held on October 23. The German professionals of the book thus intend to greet the work of the writer in favour of the bringing together of the cultures of the East and the Occident, in works where Europe and Islamic Turkey cohabit. This decision is likely to irritate the nationalist mediums Turkish, who did not spare their criticisms against Mr. Pamuk at the beginning of the year, after its declarations favorable to the recognition of the genocide of the Armenians. In a maintenance granted to a Swiss newspaper, it had stated that " 30 000 Kurds and a million Armenians had been killed in Turkey ", with the risk to attract itself the lightnings of the official Turks, of which some had invited to proceed to an auto-da-fe of its works.

Les " atrocités arméniennes " exposées à Brême
    GENOCIDE, mardi 28 juin 2005 – ARMENEWS .
