Re: What if 'the internet' was a 'real' place...
Nobody here got the ‘bonus points’ for being the first to wish me a happy birthday.
I’m very touched and glad that the first person to tell me happy birthday was my child, first thing this morning. The second was my mom, on the phone. The third was my best friends who took me out for drinks tonight…
Internetland is a nice place to VISIT, but I WOULDN’T want to live there.
But, yet, I vacation there all da*m the time...

) Chappelle pictured the internet as a shopping mall. He saw the kiosk "99 cent music downloads" with no lines. Good deal. Then he looked over at the mobs running out (with arms full of cd's) from the "Free Downloads" music store. The rest of the skit, he's walking around with the giant bag of 'free cd's.'
