  • What exfo Stands For?

After reading several pages where the words "export" and "import" frequently occur, a sensible person would naturally conclude that - regardless of their exact meaning - export is the opposite of import. The same would be true of, for instance, "interior" and "exterior" and many other words.

After reading several posts where the word "exfo" occurs, I'm glad that I have come to the same conclusion as a sensible person would: exfo is the opposite of info, exfo is about misinformation and lies.

Actually if you are to compare "exfo" and "info" then perhaps a more accurate approach would be comparing "exformation" and "information".
"Exformation" stands for "explicitly discarded information" and is all the thoughts we do not actually say but have in our heads, before we say anything at all. Information is the demonstrable utterance that we actually come out with...

ok so first possibility is that "efxo" was abbreviation of the word "exformation". The term "exformation" was described by Tor Nørretranders and "He argues that effective communication depends on a shared body of knowledge between the persons communicating. If someone is talking about cows, for example, what is said will be unintelligible unless the person listening has some idea what a cow is, what it is good for, and in what contexts one might encounter one. In using the word “cow”, Nørretranders says, the speaker has deliberately thrown away a huge body of information, though it remains implied."(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_N%C3%B8rretranders) and it can be concluded that "from the information content of a message alone, there is no way of measuring how much exformation it contain." Your nick therefore implies that the things you argue doesnt necessarily reflect the entire "thoughts" you have in your mind.

second possibilty is that exfo stands for "executive floor"...lol.
