My boyfriend and I are coming up on our 2 year anniversary. I asked him what he wanted he said an XBox 360 so that's what he's getting. First he wanted to get me a guitar. For one I don't play guitar so I told him honey I'm sorry but I know its just going to collect dust. And now he wants to get me a Nintendo Wii. Yeah it would be cool gift for a birthday or christmas but not our 2 year anniversary. I just want a gift from the heart, is that to much to ask? How should I tell him with out hurting his feelings since this is the second gift idea that I'm turning down

My girlfriend and I aren't into any video games but if we were, I'd save that for a Christmas gift, as you said.

For an anniversary, I always go with something more thoughtful. Something you can't put a price on and something that isn't necessarily a gift you can buy. I've had one anniversary so far (one year) and we went to San Diego to an amazing restaurant. I was also planning on getting her a necklace which I couldn't find so I had made and gave it to her for her birthday this year.

For us, I think, it's the little things. We both coincidentally got each other a custom made calendar on our anniversary. It basically summed up the entire year with pictures, special dates, and memories.

just get married already I don't know any unmarried couples that reach two years unless they marry.
