Are you able to read Armenian like English or do you have to think about what the word says/spells out? Do you know what I mean?

Well sometimes it depends. I'm not slow though. I can look at the word for 2 seconds and know it. Theres probably 3-4 letters i get mixed up together.

I mean this forum is when I started to read Armenian again. Other than that Last time I read and wrote in Armenian was 4-5 years ago. I still remember though.

I didn't say I dont know how to read, I said his font was too small for me to read and the sentence was long so I was too lazy and didn't bother to read.

I was a Saturday school teacher too for three years.

I didn't say I dont know how to read, I said his font was too small for me to read and the sentence was long so I was too lazy and didn't bother to read.

Sorry Sero, I am also a western Armenian from Cairo, Egypt; but if I want to I can write or speak the eastern Armenian, but the western comes easier for me.

Btw; your knowledge of the above Armenian words is not bad at all; you still know "dourm" and "chomin", that's pretty good. Btw; you can download Armenian language tutorial from the website if you want to further learning the Armenian language.

Man sometimes I feel weird. I feel like me, Anonymouse, and KaroTheGreat are the only ones who talk Eastern Armenian

When windows was installed from the cd onto your computer, the option to include those languages (Armenian, Georgian, South-East Asian) probably was omitted. You need the cd I think.

I know because that's my situation (and I don't have the cd). I've found a download once that allowed me to write Armenian, but only on word I think.

Believe me, I've tried the instructions I could find from members who've posted them on this site, didn't really work out.

Thanks for letting me know about it jgk3 and Federate. I have to ask him to get the CD, although I don't know which century he'll decide to get it for me.
