Hi everyone,
I really need your help. Give me a piece of advice, plz.
There is a guy who wants to establish a serious relationship with me, who hopes we'll marry in the future.
So, what's the issue.... I like him a lot, but he's 12 years older.
Is that normal? What do you think, should I pay attention to his age, or not...

I dated 2-3 times older guys. After 2-3 dates I asked them to stop the dating. The age gap was 10-13 years but I didn’t feel comfortable with them, I felt the age difference: I was more cheerful, energetic, willing to travel, going out, spending the time on doing sports and so forth.
But in all honesty if I really liked him, had feelings or was in love with him I wouldn’t even have a second thought to leave him because of age difference. So, in a nutshell I wouldn’t pay attention to his age and would continue dating him. But of course it’s my personal opinion only you know what’s best for you.

Hey MIMI,

(its my first post!) Long story short you better really really like this guy. You really have to consider age. Its cool now cause your both young and it doesnt show. When your 30 hes goin to be 42 and when your 42 hes gonna be 54. YUK! Age is a huge factor in my opinion but like MIDSummer said if your in love and all that good stuff then do what makes you happy. I honestly would say no to this one, get with a guy your age. Overall its a better long term decision.
