Once infidelity comes into the relationship, things can never go back to the status quo even if you chose to forgive that person. Trust is completely demolished, which is the most important aspect in any relationship. After this, everything else slowly crumbles and soon enough, there is nothing left in the relationship except the history.
I think there was a thread about this in the past but I'd like to raise the issue again. Which is better, cheating to fulfill physical/sexual purposes or emotional ones?

If you forgive them the first time, they will most likely do it again.
I would NEVER forgive infidelity.

Never did. We married very hastily, more out of a desire to do something we thought would be thrilling than out of love. Oh well; I am still friends with her, but can't imagine what I was thinking.Originally posted by Artsakhtsi still love her?

You suckedOriginally posted by loseyourname My wife threatened to cheat on me back on when I was still married. She never did, but I said it was fine as long as she did it with another woman, since I knew a woman would never be able to give her what I could and would pose no real threat to me. Oh well - that ended quickly anyway. Real mature marriage, huh?
xxxx everything.
(very witty remark isn't it ?)

The fact is that you simply can't, when you're 20/25/30, what you will be 15/20 years after.Originally posted by violette829 Marriage should NEVER feel like a prison. Like Arvest said, u get married when u know that person is the one u want to spend the rest of ur life with. If u ever feel trapped in a marriage, then there are some SERIOUS issues to deal with.
Men usually say this, but they are much better off married than single...statistics have shown....
Things are not sealed (this is why I loved Eyes Wide Shut) we can't never be sure of anything in this kind of business.
That's why I'm saying such a thing, it's not I want particularly enter into men's statistics.
Of course you get married when you're convinced, but would you stay on the same convictions ever ?
By the way, I'm hijacking the purpose of the thread. I stop
