In my opinion, you always have to be looking.

About always having someone on your mind, I disagree. I haven't had someone in mind forever. Well, there was that one girl a few weeks ago I thought about for an hour or 2 until she mentioned her boyfriend.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately...
this goes specially to the girls in this forum.
has there been a time in your life when you didn't have any guys in mind??
my point is that when it comes to love, do we look for people ALL the time cuz it makes us feel better about ourselves? the feeling of safety... of belonging...? or IS it about that one person??

think about it. even if it were a simple crush you had on some guy in junior high, haven't you just ALWAYS had SOMEone in mind everyday of your life since you discovered the feeling??..

No actually, I don't always have someone in mind everyday.

I don't think you always have to be looking... the best things come along when you aren't looking, you know, when you least expect it.

and by the way, my question has nothing to do whether or not you would make any moves on that person. I just want to know if people DO actually think about someone all the time.

now that i think about it someone is always on my mind, even when i don't think i'm thinking about someone, i actually am because i'm thinking about not thinking about them.

yup. the getting hurt part is what made me start this thread.
now teach yourself to NOT have anyone in mind for a certain period of time.

I can't even describe how good it feels

and I'm not suggesting to stay like that forever.
but enjoy your freedom while you're single is what i mean.
