Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Originally posted by Archetype8If my bringing out the facts means I am stubborn then I guess that word fits relevantly to all us. The fact that you mince together concepts just based upon one erroneous little presumptions says it all, hence why I said what I said.
Originally posted by Archetype8Dikran just comprehend. A concept or ideal does not automatically become "wrong" just because the source isn't you. It is a learning process and it's alright do your own research for once and come up with your own conclusion based upon your own investigation not what others expect you to believe.
For Ryan and Mousy: My views are always based on taking personal observations, not just "text book" facts, to formulate an opinion. That is the difference between intelligence, and just having a good memory, aka memorizing stats and sticking strictly to "text book" knowledge. Did it ever occur to you guys that studies are just as susceptible to tainting? Depends who conducted the study, who's paying for/supporting it, ect. Plus the people participating in the study are more than capable of just flat out lying about the information they're giving out. I would MUCH rather form opinions off of what I see and can validate as opposed to a study in which, I know none of the participants, or what the circumstances surrounding the study were.
Not that any of this matters now, as this conversation has gone to hell in a ham and cheese sammich.

Do you even know what those words mean? Look if this is what helps you sleep at nights that I am "pretentious" and etc etc then fine. I feel my IQ dropping the more I read your false claims you have towards me with your ineffective insults which you constantly spouted at me just because I asked for verification of your proof of your fallacies you assert upon Armenians and everything else in general.
And I could care less what anyone thinks of me, unless it xxxxxles upon my well-being or rights. Yes you feel better now, now let's work on that technique again: inhale HOLD :counts to ten for you: .............exhale out.Last edited by Archetype8; 07-24-2004, 04:37 PM.

Your presumptions of Armenian girls being skanks that hang on Mexican and African jock straps is just as unsupported as you're claiming my observations are. You're guilty of the same thing you're accusing anileve of. The rules only apply to others, not to you. When I state an opinion carefully based on observation within AND outside of my own family, it's a falsified, tainted perception. When you state your opinion of Armenian girls....based off of AC profile pages and big mouthed Mexicans and blacks, it makes your generalizations a fact. Case in point:
You of all people are accusing me of thinking a concept or ideal is wrong because it's not coming from me??? And you're telling me to do plenty of research??? Since when have I ever formed an opinion off of what others expect of me??? Ryan, are you suffering from amnesia? When you got booted from here, did it completely erase your memory and start you from scratch, too? After all the discussion we've had about the Matrix philosophy, and thinking outside the paradigms, I can't believe you just made a comment like that. That philosophy makes my vantage point unique to probably 99 out of 100 people. The vast majority of my posts go against the grain, and they go against it HARD.

Yes seeing that those are LIVE and REAL people doing it yes it makes it a fact. And my statements about those girls are not from just profiles and if you had any clue of what you were saying you would not say that. Those profiles only symbolize what occurs in reality, I HAVE SEEN all of which I have said about the happen. Unlike you, I do not jump to greater heights of others opinions nor will I ever conform to their notions to see things. I happen to know this for myself, hence why I am very adament about it and all of your other stuff you said to me seems regurgitation of the suburban back alleys of Anglo Chicago there where they still tag along to magazine clothing trends when they subscribe monthly just to buy a new outfit.Last edited by Archetype8; 07-24-2004, 04:55 PM.

By the way, just for those who are interested I found an interested site about Armenian history...
Armenian History in Brief
The third paragraph is especially interesting... particularly the very first sentence...
"The mixture of Armens with the indigenous Hayasa eventually produced the Armenian people as it is known today. The existence of two major segments in the Armenian people is best of all illustrated by the fact that Armenians call themselves "Hay" and their country "Hayastan" after Hayasa, while other peoples call them Armenians and their country Armenia after the Armens. The Armenian language is basically the language of Armens, which is the only survivor of the now extinct Thraco-Phrygian group. It incorporated a large number of Hayasa words and grammatical features, as well as a significant number of non-Indo-European words from minor ethnic groups, which also took part in the ethnogenesis of Armenians."

"Armenia is one of the oldest countries in the world with a recorded history of about 3500 years. The oldest known ancestors of modern Armenians, the Hayasa-Azzi tribes, also known as Proto-Armenians, were indigenous to the Armenian Highland in Eastern Anatolia. These tribes formed the Nairi tribal union, which existed until late 13th century BC. The legendary forefather of Armenians, Hayk, famous for his battles with Babylonian ruler Bel, most likely was one of the Hayasa tribal leaders. The words 'Nairi' and 'Nairian' are still used by Armenians as poetic synonyms of the words 'Armenia' and 'Armenian'. "
Yea, we know that and that is only a BRIEF marginal of what that is and it is still written by amateur ASA students.
