Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

        3. If you already know that there are gold-digging mothers and daughters out there, stay away from them!! Spend less time b!tching about them and more time thinking about your own faults to make yourself better to find a better person to be with....

        4. Most of us are actually not all that interested in money and would rather have a well educated man who can converse with us and hold our interest and pay attention to us without becoming ADD puppies with their tongues salivating every other time a blond with big boobs and a nice butt walks by.

        5. I think you need to stop with this 'Glendale Armenians' crap. If they are so bad then grow a pair of balls and the next time you see such 'Glendale Armenians' tell them that they are giving other self-respecting Armenians a bad name by being such despicable excuses for human beings. As a matter of fact I think we all should do that, I'll be first in line!

        6. In a moment of total frustration, when my work week had been going poorly, money seemed to be running out to pay bills as soon as it came in (school loans, car insurance, cell phone, etc-- not Gucci bags and Ferragamo shoes! ), and I was tired from working 8 hours a day and hardly seeing my family even though I live in the same house, I must admit I uttered those words 'I need to marry rich'... Let me assure you that it was said in jest. The only reason I ever said that, like I said in a moment of extreme exhaustion, is because I can't imagine having a life without a family and I can't imagine having a functioning family life if I am working 8 hours a day to make another dollar to pay another bill. I think a lot of women have taken this money grubbing idea to the extreme. But, it's a fact you can't deny that if a woman has the responsibility to stay at home and raise the family, then the man should shoulder the responsibility to make enough money to support them until such a time as the woman can work again, even if it's just part time. I can't imagine not working because I love what I do, but I also can't imagine having someone else raise my kids... So, it is this idea of having someone who will be a solid support, money wise, that some women take to unnecessary extremes because they are spolied and lazy and want never to lift a finger or work a day in their lives. I hate this kind of woman, believe me, probably as much as you do. You just need to know that there are better women out there. Armenian women... Not to sound snobbish about education but I bet you if you find a well educated Armenian she will be much less likey to be a gold digger....

        BRAVO!! Well said.

Those women who want money...won't last long. Plus, surely you don't want to have an empty bank account...

Gold diggers.... are like a disease. I know one. She ONLY WANTS TO MARRY A DOCTOR, and shes 35 years old already. Christ, get married already. 5 more years and you can't have kids!

By the way, EYYBABA23.... you shouldn't be looking for a wife at clubs. Trust me. I never was into clubbing and partying. I tried it a few times and found it absolutely lame, a waste of time and $. The right girl will come to you. Don't look for one. Trust me on this, aper.

Mersi Sev jan. I used to go clubbing alot when I was like 21-22 (that's normal when you turn 21) I rarely go to clubs now. Only if it's like a friend's birthday or something. It is very lame, a waste of a time and $ unless I was going there with my gf to just go dancing. (I'd rather go to a Harsanik and dance every weekend actually...lol)

Hi ladies, and my Armenian brothers. This is my first post on this forum so please have a little patience.

It seems to me that lately most of the Armenian girls are looking for guys with MONEY! Is this just a recent trend or has this been going on? I'm 25 and I'm just furious about this situation. You start talking to a girl and the first thing they ask is what kind of a car do you drive, or what do you do, and etc.

I don't think I'm the model type, but I'm not ugly either. I'm very honest (and that sometimes works against me), I'm a pretty funny, and respectful, also a family guy and very nice (I think that's my problem sometimes, since alot of girls like guys that are jerks and treat them bad). But as I stated before, it seems that just because I don't drive a Mercedes or a BMW or a Lexus, I'm not qualified for our Armenian women.

Now, if the whole "Marry an Armenian" thing wasn't going on (Which I strongly agree with) I'd have been married to a non-Armenian already, but that's a no no.

With all the things I said up there, I seriously see no way that I can find a girl that'll love me for me and not for my money (at this age anyways). Now the other thing that our gold-digger Armo girls don't realize is that if they got attracted to a guy's money, how could they be sure that other women won't do the same, and if the guy has a little bit of a jerk in him, boom he's gonna cheat on you.

With all this said, do any girls have a solution for me? Do you think I should go and buy a Mercedes and jump on the Banwagon?
EYYBABA23 I am neli.I think money is not everything but without money you can't live .and I will say something straghit that I don't like to pay for guys when I am with them and in life but it dosen't mean I am not gone helpping him(my soul mate).but there is guys which now looking for women money to.now days money is talking not fealing or heart.there is 1 more think to which every one knows and guys love to talk about it and thats SE>>>>X to women.I can't find LOVE in there and no one knows the deap meaning of love.ok I can write more about this topick but its enough for now.bye

I don't think all Armenian girls are gold diggers, what a stupid generalisation to make. Armenian guys need to understand that women need a lot more than money to be happy!!!

It is unbelivable how you are wrong. Be funny and honest, show to the lady the future, which you can create. You have real problems on social minde level in America.
