yeah, they should be in PM. Is word for LOVE the same as the word for LIKE? I mean to say I LIKE boys and I LIKED someone who was French... but I think I say LOVE....

Don't know how to say love in French neither
You may say "aimer", but it means almost Love. you may say: "je l'aime bien" to say I like him

In such a case, the best would to say nothing about your feelings. "J'ai appris quelques mots de Français, parce que j'etais av un francais"
