Wouldn't it reflect a sad view of life!
What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.

It's very romantic, but I would be scared if it was said to me in real life. I once had a guy kiss my hand and cry, telling me how wonderful I was.... it was kind of uncomfortable... I guess it depends on the level of relationship you're in.

Doesn't a song have to be kind of extreme to get such strong emotions out of us? I mean, it's really just a song, they have to be dramatic.

It depends on how much the other person inspires us. When I'm inspired by a woman, I don't mind expressing myself in a poetic manner - "dramatic" or not! Some cultures are more tolerant to "dramatic" expressions. In other cultures, such "dramatic" expressions are taken a bit too seriously and misunderstood.
The interpretation of such moments is culturally influenced!

              Siamanto, I agree.

Wino, I dont have a gay friend, and if I did he clearly would not care to kiss my hand. You must be confused...
