I have, usually when I like a guy that's how I feel about him. I'm a very open person in genetal though, I don't like to keep secrets, so it isn't a big deal for me like it may be for most people.

Originally posted by LadySilverI was wondering have you ever met a person that you were just so comfortable with that you thought you could tell that person anything at all?Originally posted by loseyournameThere are certain people that just seem very understanding and non-judgemental, and you feel comfortable telling them things that you would have reservations telling other people.
Also, the relevance or importance of each (reason/factor) probably varies from one case to another; some may be completely absent.
The following can only be an incomplete list:
1- An understanding person (of course, it helps!)
2- A person who inspires trust. Why? Again, the reasons may be manifold!
3- A person who inspires admiration and respect. Again, the reasons may be manifold!
4- A person that we perceive or feel as "likable." The affection we feel helps. Again, the reasons may be manifold!
5- etc. etc.
Is that all? I doubt! How about the other person, you in this case! Such a feeling usually fade with time and fail to evolve, unless you also inspire similar feelings in the other person.
In any case, please, keep in mind that you should never reveal anything unless you feel so: if the other person is really understanding, then he/she should understand your reasons! You're inviting another person into your secret garden - or sharing it with another person - you're not selling it!
Last but not least, don't run away or destroy it simply because you can't fully understands it! Learn to walk in the dark!
PS.
Of utmost importance: beware of any person who would tell you the following:
Smash me into little pieces, put me in a cup,
add sugar, stir me, warm me up, and drink me.
I want to get inside you. I want to light your heart.
....
I just want to get to know you better...I'm a curious guy.(x3)

I think you're taking this a little too seriously, Siamanto. I don't see what you have to lose by being open with the average friend of yours, unless you think he'll ridicule you for it and you're revealing criminal activity on your part. I really don't see any reason to be ashamed of what you would have to say. That said, I can understand if you'd not want to be open with spiral.
